Hi there! Happy Wednesday to you! We’ve reached the middle of the week. I have to say that this week is going by pretty quickly. I’m glad about that. I’m looking forward to the weekend. Also, the weather is absolutely beautiful for the next few days! Yesterday was torrential downpours with lots of flooding. It was a very scary commute into work. I’m so thankful my commute is MUCH closer so it wasn’t as bad as it could have been. The rain brought some beautiful weather for us now. It’s a lot cooler and very sunny. I love days like that!
Anyway, today I wanted to talk about something very special today that I completely forgot about! I don’t know how I managed to let this slip but I wanted to mention it and reflect on the past year. On August 4th, it was my blog’s three-year blogiversary!!! I am so excited and I cannot believe it’s been three years since I’ve been blogging. I may not have a “popular” blog but I have a blog that I am proud of and that makes me happy.
This blog has become a place where I can document my eats, my feelings, my life, my ups and downs and connect with other people who may feel the same way, may have different opinions or just want to check in and read about my life and my eats. I love that I have a place where I can document my life and reflect back for years to come. I have connected with some great people through blogging and it has opened my eyes to a new world. I am looking forward to the future. Hopefully that future brings a blog redesign because I would love to have this site looking fabulous! I also hope the future brings me a DLSR camera. I would love to have a professional camera so my pictures look a lot better.
I want to thank each and every one of you for following along for the past year or three years, whichever it may be. I look forward to the next year and I hope you follow along with me! Let’s reflect on some moments of the past year!
The biggest moment of the past year was our wedding and honeymoon. *Check out the wedding tab for all of my posts*
Oliver went through a major surgery which put my family through a heartbreaking week.
I attended FEASTIVAL in Philly.
I had dinner at the Plain & Fancy in Lancaster, PA & celebrated 7 years with Mike.
I went to the opening of Zoe’s Kitchen.
I tried Bravo Italian Restaurant for the first time.
David Tutera started following me on Twitter!
I quit my job of 6.5 years and got my dream career.
Mike and I decided that we weren’t going to be able to buy a house this year and we would continue renting.
I attended a dinner at Fleming’s Steakhouse.
I celebrated my 29th birthday.
So those are some of the biggest moments of this year in blogging. Here’s to more exciting years to come and thank you for always being there for me!
Have a great Wednesday!
