Hi there! Happy Thursday to you! I am so glad that it’s Thursday and we are almost done with this week. It’s been a really rough week for me with my stomach. I’m not quite sure why but I am looking forward to taking some time this weekend to sleep in and relax and take it easy with my stomach. I’m hoping that might help things a bit. This morning was crazy driving into work! One minute I was driving in fine weather, and the next there was torrential downpours! Crazy weather! I also feel like from the time I walked outside of my house to when I walked outside of my car at work, the temperature dropped drastically. That makes me happy because I kind of enjoy the cold weather.
Last night I decided to keep things simple because I really wasn’t feeling well. I had just enough energy to make Mike and I breakfast foods for dinner. We decided to eat eggs with a baked potato with Earth Balance “butter.”
I don’t know why the eggs look strange but they were cooked perfectly. I love twice over eggs. I think that is what those are called. I like when the yolk is cooked. Sometimes I like when it’s runny but I really need to be in the mood for it.
In continuing with my breakfast theme for today, I thought I would fill out a cereal survey that Melissa came across when blog reading. I thought it was a really cute survey and since I am a cereal fanatic, I should fill it out. Due to my couponing skills, we have at least 20 or more boxes of cereal in our house! A bit crazy much? What can I say? I love a good cereal deal! Now on with the survey!
How often do you eat cereal? Almost every day. If not everyday, then every other day. Multiple times a week at least.
Do you measure out one serving or are you a free pourer? I never measure out one serving. I think I tried to years ago and I just couldn’t stick with it. I’d rather free pour. Plus, I never eat just one kind of cereal. I always mix a bunch together and make a cereal cocktail!
What is the last kind of cereal you ate? The last cereal I ate was Peanut Butter Toast Crunch, which was fabulous by the way. It is a must try for peanut butter lovers.
What is your favorite “healthy” cereal? My favorite “healthy” cereal is Kashi Go Lean Toasted Berry Crumble.
What is your favorite “unhealthy” cereal? My favorite “unhealthy” cereal is definitely Lucky Charms!
What is your favorite fruity cereal? My favorite fruity cereal would have to be the Kashi Go Lean that I mentioned above. I really like the berry pieces mixed into the cereal.
What is your favorite chocolatey cereal? My favorite chocolatey cereal is Special K Chocolately Strawberry. It is so addicting! Once you try it, you won’t want to stop!
What is one cereal you can’t stand? I don’t know if there is a particular cereal that I can’t stand per say. I would have to say anything with Bran, like Bran Flakes or something of that nature. It doesn’t sound appealing to me. It sounds like it would taste like cardboard.
What kind of milk do you prefer in your cereal? The one pictured below is my absolute favorite!
What was your favorite cereal as a kid? My favorite cereal as a kid was definitely Lucky Charms. It still is one of my favorites. It’s something about those marshmallows that make happy! I also liked Rice Krispies and Cornflakes.
Did you ever buy a box of cereal just for the toy inside? Of course I did! I think every kid would beg their parents for a box of cereal that had a special toy that they wanted inside. Do they even put toys inside of cereal boxes anymore? I don’t think they do.
What is the most amount of cereal you’ve eaten in one sitting? Probably two bowls full of cereal. I usually like to split up my cereal eating throughout the day. Sometimes I’ll have a bowl for breakfast and then another bowl as a snack later on throughout the day. I also like eating cereal dry to snack on. Barbara’s Bakery Peanut Butter Puffins are good for snacking on dry!
Best cereal for snacking on dry? Too funny! I didn’t even see this cereal before I mentioned the last statement above. I would have to say Peanut Butter Puffins!
Do you put fruit/sugar/other toppings in/on your cereal? No, I usually just eat it plain. In the past I have put slices of bananas in my cereal but I haven’t done that in a while.
So there you have it! A fun survey about my favorite item, cereal! Now it’s your turn! Pick a few questions and answer them in the comments below! I think it will be fun to see everyone’s cereal preferences.
Alright, Have a great Thursday!
