After being married for a little over a month now, I am finally ready to begin recaps of our wedding. The hardest part for me is trying to figure out how I am able to put into words the happiest day of my entire life. I am going to try as best as I can to recap every moment but I think the pictures that you will see will do the work for me. There aren’t enough words that I can possibly say about this day. It truly was one of the best days of my entire life. I couldn’t have asked for a better day to start our married life together with my soul mate. We waited almost 7 years for this day and every second was well worth the wait. So without further adieu, I bring you, the getting ready portion of our wedding.
On August 17th, I got ready with my bridesmaids and my mom at our wedding venue. My makeup artist and hair stylist came to the venue to make everyone beautiful. Meanwhile, Mike spent the day at a hotel down the street where we had set up room blocks at to get ready with his groomsman. I had getting ready pictures and video taken, while Mike only had getting ready pictures. I am going to give you a sampling of some of the getting ready photos and some of the photos that were taken before the ceremony.
So these pictures are the getting ready pictures and all of these pictures were taken before the ceremony started. This is just a mere sampling of pictures that we received. These are some of my favorites in this section of our wedding. I promise that I am going to recap more of our wedding. I have lots more pictures, details and stories to share. I cannot wait to share them all with you. I apologize for taking so long to recap this but it was a huge event in our lives and I want to make sure that I portray everything the way it should be.
I cannot even begin to put into words how I was feeling in these pictures. I was excited and nervous at the same time. I was anxious and just couldn’t wait to see Mike. My bridesmaids did a great job of keeping me calm and relaxed. I only had one bridezilla moment the entire day and that was over the cake which was completely understandable once I explain the story of what happened with that. Other than that freak out, I was pretty much okay the rest of the day. I just couldn’t wait for the ceremony to begin and one of the most nervous moments of my entire life. I will save that for another day though.
Thanks for following in this journey with us and I will be recapping more so stay tuned!
