Hi there! Happy Wednesday to you! Today is my second to last Wedding Talk Wednesday post. I seriously cannot believe it! I’ve done pretty good posting every Wednesday leading up to our wedding. I’m proud of myself. Don’t worry. I will most definitely be recapping our wedding and honeymoon. I’m sure that is going to take a while to recap so I will most likely split everything into a bunch of posts so I don’t bombard everyone with one or two long boring posts.
We have reached the single digits today! We officially have:

until we say I do. That is just crazy to me. I feel like it was just yesterday that we picked our wedding date and our venue. Now we are almost done everything and it’s bittersweet. It’s been stressful, overwhelming and crazy planning everything but it has definitely reaffirmed my love for planning and wanting to help others plan events. I think it’s going to be so rewarding when I see my vision come to life and see what other people think of it. Hopefully it will be positive reactions! Fingers crossed.
The rest of this week, I am just finishing loose ends. I am picking up our programs and place cards from the printer today after work. I hope they look great. Then I have to finish some random things. I also need to wash our toasting flutes, cake server and knife. I need to get everything together and labeled because we are bringing everything to our venue on Saturday. I’m nervous to leave all of these things at the venue. These are items that I have been diying or collecting for over a year now. It’s hard to let go but I have faith that everything is going to turn out just fine. Once the wedding things are out of our house, I think it will feel real. It still hasn’t hit me yet. I don’t know what I’m waiting for. I’m hoping it hits me soon. I feel like I’m planning someone else’s wedding. It’s an odd feeling.
I have a whole plan set up for next week. My last work day will be Monday. Then on Tuesday night, Melissa, my mom and I will be getting our nails and toes done. I am so excited for this!!! I haven’t had a manicure, or pedicure in over a year and jeez, I could sure use the pampering! I decided on getting acrylics put on my nails because my natural nails are super short. I’m planning on getting a french manicure on my nails and my toes.

The place that I booked has an amazing pedicure package that includes aromatherapy. I am really looking forward to that. I cannot wait!
Then on Wednesday morning, I’m going to spa to finally use the gift certificate Melissa got me for my birthday. I’m getting a spa reflexology massage and my eye brows waxed. I’m excited for the reflexology massage because they focus on certain pressure points in areas of your body that are bothering you.

When she got me the gift certificate she talked to them about my stomach issues and they said they can focus on stomach pressure points. I’m willing to try it especially if it can help with my stomach pain and discomfort for our wedding and honeymoon. I’ve never had a massage before. Have you ever had a massage? Ever had a reflexology massage? What should I expect to happen?
I am also planning on getting my rings cleaned at some point. I’m hoping Wednesday afternoon will work for that. Wednesday night, I am getting spray tanned. I originally wanted to go Thursday morning but where I wanted to go, the artists are on vacation starting that day. So I’m praying and I’m hopeful that I will be tan enough for Friday. I wanted to look tan for our rehearsal on Thursday night as well. I’m hoping things go well with that. I haven’t decided if I am going to wear a bathing suit or what I am going to do. I usually wear a bathing suit but I’m not sure what I am going to do this time. I need to think about that.
Thursday morning, I’m planning on going to a local bagel shop and getting bagels for Friday for my bridesmaids and I and Mike and his groomsman to enjoy while prepping for the day. I was going to order a spread of stuff to be delivered but it was WAY too expensive. So I’m going to DIY it myself. I’m planning on picking up bagels and cream cheese. I’m also hoping to make my own fruit tray for us girls to enjoy. I figure I can get all of that done throughout the day on Thursday.
Mike and I also need to pack for our honeymoon next week and get any last-minute items that we might need. Does anyone know if you are allowed to bring sealed granola bars or nutritional bars on the plane? They are completely sealed. Or should I pack it in my suitcase?
If you have any tips on packing or anything of that nature, please share! I always overpack like crazy and this time I am determined to only pack what I need and see if I can interchange outfits and whatnot. Fingers crossed that I can do that!
Alright, well that is all I have for this edition of Wedding Talk Wednesday. Have a great day!

I am fairly certain you can bring sealed food onto a plane as long as it’s solid food, not liquid. In fact I’m sure of it – since they don’t provide food anymore!
Can’t believe its soooooo soon!
Awesome! That is what I was thinking too. That makes me really happy. Since I’m paranoid, I might call the airport just to double check.
I know! It’s crazy!
