Hi there! Happy Tuesday! I apologize for falling off the face of the earth since Friday. Things have been super crazy from over the weekend and I haven’t been feeling too great. So I’m sorry for my lack of posting. I promise, I’m back and ready to go! I hope all of you had a great weekend! What did you do?
I’ll first recap some of my weekend and then I will get to the giveaway winner! So on Friday after work, I went to Melissa’s house. We hung out for a while and cooked dinner together. I decided to have eggs with a bagel. I didn’t take a picture because it’s been my usual thing lately. After dinner, we went out and ran some errands. We had some last minute items to pick up for my Bachelorette party weekend. We stopped at the mall and the supermarket to pick up a few things. We hung out for a little while longer and then I went home.
I started packing and I got some things together and hung out with Mike since it was going to be my first time being away from him since we starting living together over 2 years ago. I don’t count me being away from him when I was in the hospital because that wasn’t by choice. I had to stay there. So this was the first time. It was hard for sure but it was only for one night. I ended up going to sleep kind of late and then I woke up early on Saturday morning.
I finished packing the rest of my stuff and I went to see Melissa and my mom. I picked up Melissa and brought her back to my house and we waited for Tarra to arrive before leaving for Atlantic City. I’m not going to discuss my Bachelorette party now. I’m going to wait until tomorrow for Wedding Talk Wednesday to do that. I had really high expectations for my party. I don’t know why I got them so high. Parts of it were great and other parts were not so great. I will get into more detail tomorrow about it though.
On Sunday, before leaving Atlantic City, Tarra, Melissa and I went out to breakfast/brunch and then we checked out the new Revel casino. That casino is amazing!! We walked around for a little while but all 3 of us were so tired that we decided to just go home. I don’t even know how I drove home because I was so exhausted. I didn’t sleep the entire night. So I was really tired. It wasn’t because I was drinking or anything of that nature because I was not drunk at my party by any means. I was just literally, so tired.
When I got home on Sunday, Mike and I decided to order Chinese food. We watched the Bachelorette on tv and then called it a night. I went to wake up at my normal time for work yesterday and I couldn’t even see how to get up. I physically couldn’t get out of bed. I was beyond the point of tired and my stomach felt absolutely horrible. I decided to take a mental health day along with a sick day because I wasn’t feeling well emotionally or physically. A lot went on at the party that I am still extremely upset and hurt about. So I needed a day to myself to just sit at home, sleep and relax. Things have been really stressful lately. Now, here we are. Tuesday. I’m hoping today goes by quickly. I am still super tired.

I always get my expectaions too high, too. I hear ya. And I HATE being that tired!
Me too. I need to learn to set them lower so I won’t be disappointed. Me too!
