Hi there! I hope your week is going well. Thankfully it’s Thursday and we are one day closer to the weekend. I cannot wait to sleep in on Saturday. I couldn’t even wake up this morning. I almost slept through my alarm. It was one of those days where you just want to lay in bed and not get out of it. I hope I can stay awake to make it through the rest of the day.
So yesterday for dinner, we had the same thing that we had the night before. I reheated the rotisserie chicken, made a baked potato and roasted some veggies to go along with it. Nothing too exciting and I didn’t want to bore you with another picture of the same thing again. I do want to talk about an article that I read yesterday. I was going to post about it yesterday but since it was Wednesday and my on-going theme is Wedding Talk Wednesday, I figured it would be a good feature for today.
Did you hear that Starbucks is going to be opening up inside of Disneyland and Disney World?! I knew that this day would come. It was only a matter of time before it became official.

According to USA Today, Starbucks will be opening the first of six cafes in June at Disneyland California Adventure. The plans also include to open cafes in Disney World in all of the parks: Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The first Starbucks opening up in California Adventure will be located in the Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Café on Buena Vista Street. This store’s location will have a Spanish/Mexican theme to it and will have the barista’s wearing 1920′s-inspired attire. The cafe will serve coffee, espresso, Frappuccino beverages, breakfast sandwiches and pastries.
This is what the cafe will look like:
Since I am such a Disney fanatic and a coffee drinker, I knew I had to share this tidbit of information for all of you. What do you think about Starbucks being put into Disneyland and Disney World? Do you think this will take away from the Disney part of the parks or do you think it will add to it?
I’m on the fence about it. I knew it was only a matter of time before a Starbucks or something of that nature would be put into Disney parks. I think I would prefer to see a Disney themed coffee shop or something of that nature as opposed to a Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts type place. I think it’s too commercial for Disney. There are so many Starbucks everywhere, I think Disney is place where you can go to escape everyday life. I think it should be a different type of experience for customers. I don’t know if adding Starbucks will keep that feeling the same.
On the other hand, I think it’s nice to be able to walk into a park and grab your favorite Starbucks drink or pastry and have it taste exactly the same as any Starbucks you may go to. I don’t know. Like I said before, I’m really on the fence about it. I don’t know if it’s a good idea. We had to know that something like this would happen sooner or later. It was only a matter of time. I just hope this doesn’t mean that they will be putting other commercial restaurants and stores in Disney. I think Disney is perfect the way that it is. I’m really curious to see how all of you think about this.
So that is pretty much all I had to discuss today. I hope all of you have a great Thursday!

I agree with you about being on the fence about it. Starbucks is EVERYWHERE! I think they should make the Starbucks Disney themed to keep with the theme of the parks. I hope they sell special Disney mugs or tumblers because I love their products.
I really like the Starbucks Disney logo you posted! I wish they would use that in the parks instead of the mermaid!
I totally agree with you! I hope they make the Starbucks Disney themed. I think that is their plan. Me too!
I wish they would too. I’m not sure if that is the actual logo or someone just created it. Either way, they should use it!
I definitely agree with you that it would be cooler to have a Disney themed coffee shop, but at the same time, I do love Starbucks… haha!
Haha! I know what you mean. It will be interesting to see what happens with it.
