Mission Accomplished!…

Good Morning!!  Happy Friday!!!  It’s Friday!  I’m so glad that this is a long weekend!  I could definitely use Monday off for sure.  It will be nice to have that extra day.  What are you doing this weekend?  I don’t really have any plans.  Tomorrow morning, I have to bring my car in for service and then on Monday, I have an appointment with a nutritional counselor.  So that is about it!  Nothing too exciting.  I’m maybe hoping to browse Kohl’s.  Have you heard they are now selling Rock & Republic clothing line?  I think that is pretty awesome!  I could never afford to buy those jeans but perhaps now I might be able to.  I have a 30% off coupon so I might stop there and check it out.

So after work yesterday, I drove straight to Staples to try to get the addresses printed on the envelopes for the Save the Dates.  Well, the guy at Staples was one of the rudest sales people I have ever encountered!  He snapped at me and literally grabbed the package of envelopes out of my hand!!  How rude!  Apparently, they don’t print addresses on those types of envelopes.  I literally wanted to break down and cry in the store.  I had such an awful day yesterday and this just topped it off!  I left the store and tried to come up with plan b.

So I tried printing the addresses out on my  computer.  I ended up wasting 5 or 6 envelopes because I didn’t know what I was doing.  Luckily, I ordered extra envelopes in case I made a mistake.  So I was glad about that.  I ended up being able to print out 3 from my computer that just so happened to be my family, my dad, and Mike’s parents.  So those will be the only ones with printed envelopes because they were my experiment.  I was so frustrated and finally decided to just print them on there.  These are only the Save the Dates.  It’s not a big deal.  Then for our invitations, I will most definitely be hiring a calligrapher.

Before I started, Mike and I decided to pick up dinner from Red Robin.  I had earned a reward from their rewards card for buy one get one free.

Red Robin..yum!

Plain Grilled Chicken Sandwich..boring!

I ordered just a plain grilled chicken sandwich with nothing on.  Our grand total for two dinner was only $9.  Not bad if you ask me.  I felt so sick before and after eating this.  I’m sure my stress level was not helping my stomach any.  It’s just so frustrating!

After dinner, Mike and I began our assembly line.  I was writing the addresses and stuffing the envelopes and Mike was in charge of sealing them.  We had a good line going.  It pretty much took me about 45 minutes to an hour to finish all of them.  My hand was absolutely killing me by the time we were done but it was worth it.

Now all I have to do is stop at the post office after work today and mail those babies out!  I’m so happy about being able to get them sent out when I wanted to.  It just proves that you can do anything you set your mind to.  I thought I would never get them out in time and sure enough I did.  I am proud of myself.

This morning I have my follow-up appointment with my gastrointestinal doctor.  I’m hoping that she can do something to help me because I am still in a lot of pain.  I cannot take walking around like this anymore.  Fingers crossed that something can be done!!

Have a great Friday!

PS. Today we are exactly 6 months away from getting married!  It’s hard to believe that it’s coming up around the corner!

  1. Good luck with your appointment today. Keeping my fingers crossed that she can help you out and finally get this under control!

  2. Hoping your follow-up goes well. You’ll have to let me know what the quality of the R&R jeans are like. I usually buy mine off RueLaLa, Ideeli, or Hautelook for close to what Kohl’s is selling them. They looked a little cheapy in the pics online.

    • Thank you! :) The jeans looked eh, okay. I didn’t try them on though so I’m not too sure of the quality. The other clothes were kind of strange. It’s not really stuff that I could see someone wearing everyday.

  3. I hope your belly gets better soon! I’m sure being stressed didn’t help at all… yuck.

  4. Hope the appointment goes well! As for Red Robin – I really want to try that place! Their commercials look so good!

  5. I hope your appointment goes well and you can get your tummy issues sorted out! :) Have a great weekend.
