My End Of November Favorites…

Happy Tuesday!  I hope you are having a good week so far.  I know yesterday must have been difficult coming back to work since most of us have had off from work since Thursday.  I’m just happy that I have a lot of work to do.  Yesterday pretty much flew by for me.  I had so much work to do that before I knew it, it was time for me to leave.  I love days like that.

I’m happy to say that I was able to get sleep last night!  The floors didn’t creak at all from upstairs and if they did, then I didn’t hear anything!  I’m hoping that this can continue tonight.  That would be amazing!  How many hours of sleep do you usually get a night?  I usually get around 6 or 7 hours of sleep.  I think that is enough for me to function on.  Ideally, I would like to have 8 hours of sleep but I can’t see myself going to sleep around 8 or 9pm for that to happen.

Last night for dinner, we had the last of our Thanksgiving leftovers!  I’m happy about that.  Don’t get me wrong, I love Thanksgiving food but after eating it for multiple days in a row, I think I’m done.  I’m not a huge fan of turkey to begin with.  So I’m glad that last night was our last night of turkey.  Rather than bore all of you with another picture of my dinner, I thought I’d talk about some of my end of November favorites.  I have done this feature at the beginning and end of the past two months, I believe it was.  I always like when I see bloggers post their favorite things.  I hear about products and things that I might not have known about and it gives you glimpse into what each person likes.  I find that interesting.

So my first favorite is a product that I found on Black Friday at Bed, Bath and Beyond.  It is a new flavor of coffee for the Keurig machine!  It’s White Chocolate Mint from Van Houtte.

White Chocolate Mint K-cups!

I like buying k-cups from Bed, Bath and Beyond because they allow you to use 20% off coupons.  It makes for a pretty decent deal.  I was nervous about trying this coffee because I am not a huge fan of flavored coffees.  Give me a cup of strong coffee and I’ll be happy.  I’m very picky about flavored coffee.  This coffee is good!  It’s not overly sweet and it has a good white chocolate mint flavor to it.  I find it comforting to drink in the morning.  Although, it’s not overly sweet, I don’t think I could drink it every day.  This is usually a weekend drink for me.

Another favorite is a snack that I enjoyed from childhood that I still enjoy today.  It is the perfect size snack and it’s only 90 calories.  So it’s great when I’m feeling snacky sitting at my desk at work.  What is it you might ask?  Rice Krispie Treats!

Rice Krispie Treats

I love these things!  I like the actual cereal too.  I took a long break from eating these for a while and then when I saw they were on sale a couple of weeks ago, I grabbed them!

Another item that I love is my Rachael Ray Casserole dish!  This was a gift from Melissa for my birthday last year.  I absolutely love this casserole dish like crazy!

Rachael Ray Casserole Dish

This casserole dish is super easy to use for whatever your cooking needs might be.  It keeps food hot for a very long time.  Food doesn’t stick to the bottom or the sides either.  It’s oven, dishwasher and microwave safe!  I highly recommend this dish.

Another favorite of mine which is more of a daily, weekly, and monthly favorite is Orange Seltzer!

My beloved orange seltzer

At any given time you will find me stocked with no less than 3 or 4 bottles of this stuff.  I have been drinking seltzer since I was old enough to remember.  I absolutely love it with a passion!  I don’t need soda or anything else, seltzer is pretty much the same thing except it doesn’t have the syrup flavoring.  I like that it is carbonated.  I just love drinking it.  I don’t think I could ever get tired of it.  It’s so delicious to me.

Lately, I’m really enjoying Wishbone’s Fat-Free Italian Salad Dressing.

My favorite salad dressing lately

When choosing a salad dressing, I usually try and go with something that doesn’t contain dairy.  As I have mentioned numerous times, I’m lactose intolerant.  I take lactaid pills before I eat dairy so it doesn’t bother me but those pills are expensive!  So anytime I can choose an option that doesn’t have dairy, I will do it.  That is why I like this dressing.  Plus, it’s light and has a ton of flavor.  I bet it would make a great marinade on chicken too!

My last favorite for the end of November is a new coffee creamer I discovered at the supermarket.  I am a big fan of Coffeemate.  I always use their powdered creamer in my coffee.  I love that all of their coffee creamers are dairy-free!  Right now, I’m loving the Sugar-Free Peppermint Mocha creamer.

Yummy Coffee Creamer

I am not a huge fan of liquid creamers.  I will use them on occasion.  I prefer the powdered creamer.  I do like this one though.  It has a mild peppermint flavor and it’s not too sweet.  It won’t over power your coffee which is something that I like.

So what do you think?  Do you like any of the same products as me?  What items have you been loving this month?

Have a good day!

  1. love that rachel ray casserole dish – its so fun!

  2. Where did you find the flavored creamer? It seems all the stores around me just have the normal stuff. Boring! This month I have been loving the fact my work got a Keurig. I need to go get my own K-cups and just got a coupon from BB&B to use. :)

    • I think I found it at Giant. Although, Target usually always sells the flavored holiday creamers from Coffeemate. So if you can’t find it at Giant, definitely check Target or maybe even Walmart. :) That is awesome! You defintiely need to get some k-cups. They keep coming out with great flavors.

  3. I love you casserole dish. ;) I still haven’t used mine, but I’m looking for some good recipes to try out in it.

I need to get that Peppermint mocha creamer like now! I love Starbucks peppermint mochas, but Starbucks is so pricy!

    • You definitely need to try it! You are going to love it. :) I really like Rachael Ray’s casserole dishes. I definitely want to get more of her stuff for the kitchen. It’s good quality.

It’s really good. I love Starbucks peppermint mocha’s too. They are way too expensive.

  4. I almost bought a fancy casserole dish like that this weekend but I backed out at the last minute. Now I have non-buyers-remorse.

  5. I’m really into soup lately – any kind. It’s so a soup time of year!

  6. Rice Krispie treats are always good — and White Chocolate Mint coffee? How delicious does that sound?!

Two thumbs up for a restful and relaxing night. Fingers crossed for a repeat tonight!

  7. I am so tempted to get a keurig! But I’m afraid the coffee would be too weak. But you like it so that’s a big plus!

I usually use the new natural creamers that are basically cream, sugar, and a little flavor. I love the caramel one!

    • You should get a Keurig! It makes brewing coffee so much easier. I am a fan of strong coffee. You can buy strong blends of coffee in k-cups for the machine. In fact, Starbucks just released coffee for the Keurig. So that might be an option for you. :)

I haven’t tried those yet! I really want to. Caramel sounds delicious!
