Hi there! I hope all of you are having a wonderful weekend! I will recap you with our anniversary happenings shortly after I recap the lovely event that I attended on Thursday evening at the new Bonefish Grill!
New to Bucks County, the Bonefish Grill opened on Monday, November 14th. I was given the opportunity to attend a media preview event to taste items from their menu. First I’ll start off with this history of the Bonefish. The Bonefish Grill first opened in 2000 in St. Petersburg, Florida. They inspect and hand-cut fish daily. They are committed to quality and excellence of their food. They have recently added Gluten-free options to their menu.
I started off by ordering their seasonal martini. Apparently it is a top-seller during the holiday season.
Winter White Cosmopolitan (Stoli Cranberi vodka, Cointreau, fresh lime juice and white cranberry juice, garnished with floating cranberries).
For this media event, they had pre-selected a variety of appetizers, entree’s and desserts for the table to try. We first started off with their complimentary bread and homemade pesto oil for dipping. I apologize in advance, some of my pictures are very dark. I didn’t realize how dark they were until I put them on the computer. Sorry!
They started bringing around the appetizers at this point and there were quite a few!
Wagyu Beef & Ginger Dumplings (handmade with American-style Kobe, pan-seared with crispy shallots, Thai peppers + soy sauce)
Bang Bang Shrimp (crispy shrimp, tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce) *On Wednesdays, Bonefish Offers $5 Bang Bang Shrimp! I highly recommend these. They are amazing!
- Bang Bang Shrimp
Saucy Shrimp (lime tomato garlic sauce, Kalamata olives, Feta)
Mussels Josephine (tomatoes, garlic, basil + lemon wine sauce)
It was my first time trying mussels and I loved them! They tasted very similar to clams which I also love. So if you are a fan of clams, definitely try mussels. They are so similar in consistency and flavor. I’m glad I found a new favorite!
Ahi Tuna Sashimi (sesame-seared with wasabi + pickled ginger)
I was kind of nervous for dinner. I’m not really a huge fish fan. Well, I’ve never tried fish. The only types of fish that I enjoy are shellfish such as clams, scallops, shrimp, lobster and crab. I’ve never tried anything else so I didn’t know what to expect. I thought this was as good as any time to try new things. I have to say that I am glad that I did!
First up and my personal favorite of the evening was the:
Wolf Fish Rockefeller (topped with sharp creamy spinach + lump crab, served on Jasmine rice). This is a special right now so I’m not sure how long they will be serving it. Which means I need to get back asap!
Next up was another favorite of mine which is also a special:
Lobster Thermidor Dorado (Mahi) with Florida Rock Shrimp (topped with sweet lobster, rock shrimp + a velvety sauce with a hint of sherry, served on garlic whipped potatoes)
Rockfish Monaco (grilled, topped with sautéed spinach, Feta cheese, artichoke hearts + a lemon basil butter sauce)
Spinach Bacon Gorgonzola Atlantic Salmon (topped with sautéed spinach, crispy bacon + creamy Gorgonzola cheese)
The Salmon was my least favorite of all. I am not a fan of salmon. I think it tastes way too fishy for me! I didn’t like it. I enjoyed all of the other fish much better!
During dinner, I tried another one of Bonefish’s favorite martinis. This time it was the Pomegranate Martini .
Next we were ready for my personal favorite portion of the evening, the desserts! I was so excited for the desserts especially one in particular but we will get to that one last.
Macadamia Nut Brownie (flourless brownie, raspberry sauce, vanilla ice cream)
Key Lime Pie (roasted pecan crust) This was my least favorite dessert.
Jamaican Coconut Pie (creamy custard, rum sauce + fresh whipped cream)
Last but certainly not least, get ready for this! I’m serious when I say this was the BEST dessert I ever had in my entire life!
Chocolate Creme Brulee (decadent with a hint of Grand Marnier)
This was such a wonderful experience! If you haven’t had the chance to check out the Bonefish Grill, I definitely recommend it. Even though it’s a chain, it certainly doesn’t feel like one. The service is excellent. The waiters and waitress are passionate about the food and what they are serving. They go out of their way to make sure you are having a good experience. Not to mention the food is excellent! You definitely don’t feel like you are dining at a chain when you are there! Thank you so much, Bonefish Grill and Gloss PR! This was truly an incredible experience!
Have you ever been to the Bonefish? Did you like anything that I mentioned? What would you order if you dined there?
Be back later with an anniversary recap!

That looks so fun! How did you find out about it??
It was definitely a fun time! I went on the Bonefish Grill’s website and sent out an email for the new one and asked if they were having any type of event for the opening that I could cover for my blog.
We go to Bonefish so often, and it’s so sad how many of these items I’ve had! The mussels Josephine are definitely my favorite. I’ll often order the appetizer as my main course. And, of course, no trip to Bonefish is complete without a pomegranate martini. So yummy!
Haha! That is awesome though. They have really good food.
That is such a good idea to order one of their appetizers as a main course. The appetizers are large enough to be a main course plus you are saving money too. It definitely was really good!
