Good Morning! Happy Friday! Today really doesn’t feel like Friday for some reason. It feels more like a Tuesday or something than Friday. Not that I’m complaining or anything! I’d much rather it be the end of the week! I’m actually not coming into work this weekend for once. They are working on our system so I am unable to come in anyway. I’ll come in next weekend for sure. That is why I am so excited to sleep in this weekend. What are you doing this weekend?
Tonight Mike and I are meeting with a potential photographer for our wedding. This guy is my first choice so I’m hoping that he works with us on his pricing! I’m excited to meet him. His work is beautiful. Tomorrow I’m bringing in my car for an oil change and then later at night, Mike’s two girl cousins and their significant others are coming over! They are seeing our house for the first time. I’m nervous for them to see it! Eeek! We still have some stuff to do before they come over. Then Sunday night we are meeting a potential videographer. So we shall see what happens.
Yesterday after work, I picked Melissa up and we went to the Farmer’s Market! We got some great purchases. Sadly, my beloved fresh green beans were no where to be found! Looks like I’ll need to get some at the supermarket this weekend.

My Farmer's Market finds!

Beautiful Peppers! I love the colors!

Blackberries & Fresh locally grown peaches

Zucchini and a Cantaloupe!
Melissa and I did good at the market! A lot of the things were reasonably priced. Plus, everything is local. I like supporting local farmers. After shopping for produce, I went back to Melissa’s house and hung out for a while. Oliver was feeling very affectionate yesterday. I loved it! He kept sitting on my lap and giving me kisses. He is such a sweet pup!
When I got home I started on dinner. I remembered that I had a Philadelphia Cooking Creme in my fridge that was going to expire soon. So I decided to use that. I didn’t quite follow the recipe as it says on the box. If you are interested in that recipe, I have made it before. It was
Italian Herb Chicken.

Cooking Creme

I used Pre-Cooked Chicken from Butterball

My dinner plate
I pretty much tossed in a bunch of vegetables with the chicken in a skillet. Then I added the pasta that I had already cooked. I tossed everything in the Cooking Creme. Voila! Dinner is served! It’s perfect for those nights that you want something quick and easy to prepare.
After dinner, I started organizing our house. I made amazing progress on our second bedroom! Everything is neat and organized. It looks great in there. I cleaned up our living room and that looks good too. Next we need to hang some more things up and scrub and vacuum the house. I’m not worried though. I think we will get everything done in time.
We also watched Big Brother last night! What do you think about the twist?! I kind of hope Brendan comes back. He at least provides some entertainment to the show with Rachel. I’m not too happy with Kalia winning hoh. That should be interesting! I am really getting sick of Dani! She is so manipulative.
The first Friday every month we get free hot breakfast at work. Normally on Fridays we get a choice of bagels, muffins and fruit. The first Friday is special though because we can choose whatever we want from the cafeteria. I usually get egg and cheese on a bagel. However, today was different. I was in the mood for pancakes! So blueberry pancakes it was!

Blueberry Pancakes

Stack of pancakes
I was honestly a little disappointed. The pancakes tasted very dry. I didn’t like the blueberry flavor. I’m more of a plain or strawberry or banana pancake kind of girl. Eh, it was a change though from the normal egg and cheese on a bagel. Next time I think I’ll stick with old faithful though. What is your favorite breakfast food?
Time to get back to work! Happy Friday!

Have you ever tried banana chocolate chip pancakes? They are SO good!!
Um, no! I need to try those!! They sound AMAZING!!
We both must’ve been on a blueberry kick today because I couldn’t refuse grabbing a blueberry muffin at the caf today. I inhaled the sucker.
My favorite breakfast food of all time is the Wawa turkey sausage & egg white bagel sandwich. I had a terrible addiction to it when I lived in Ardmore bc the Wawa was right on the way to work.
That is awesome! I love blueberry muffins!
Mmm..that sounds delicious! I love turkey bacon. I wonder if the sausage tastes the same too. I’ll have to try it!
I am addicted to that cooking creme thanks to you! I use it like 2x a week now, but it is super easy and really delicious. Thanks for introducing it to me!!!! : )

I have SO many favorite breakfast foods. Eggs and oatmeal top the charts, but I’m a sucker for pancakes and waffles ESPECIALLY if they have chocolate chips
Yum! Me too!! Pancakes and waffles with chocolate chips are the BEST!!
