Hi Everyone! I hope you are having a good afternoon! My day is dragging right now. I’m not sure why. I am keeping busy but every time I look at the clock, it seems as though no time has passed. Weird. I was getting excited about the possibility of a big snowstorm. It looks like we might not be getting one though. I think they are still not positive on what we are getting but it looks more like a wintry mix. That can still be really dangerous. I think I would rather have the snow over a wintry mix. That is more messy. I’ll keep dreaming of my big snowstorm. Hopefully we will get one before the winter ends.
I’d rather have one big storm rather than all of these little annoying storms.
For lunch today, I brought Mike’s left over chicken fajitas from our dinner on Friday night. I placed the grilled chicken, green peppers and onions on a bed of lettuce and I mixed in some salsa. Now, warning you, this looks gross. It tasted amazing though! This was a winner! I was so nervous I was going to have to spend money down at the cafeteria on something else but luckily, it was very tasty!
I also brought along grapes and a clementine.
I brought with a Special K Chocolate Chip Cookie bar for later.
Lastly, the moment you have been waiting for, Lemon Chobani!
Mike and I found the Lemon Chobani yesterday at ShopRite. As soon as we saw it, we grabbed it! I couldn’t believe it was on the shelf already! I knew I had to bring it in with my lunch today. I was excited but nervous. Lemon yogurt? Would it taste good? Would I enjoy it? Well, I nervously opened up the package and took my first taste. Ick. I decided to go back for another taste. Ew. I did not like this at all! It had a strange flavor to it. It tasted lemony but more like a chemical lemon flavor. I really did not enjoy it. I ended up throwing out the entire container because I couldn’t eat it. I was so disappointed. I am a big Chobani fan. I write about eating Chobani a lot on here. This just didn’t cut it. I am more of a pineapple fan. I don’t know why this tasted so bad! I was just so disappointed. Have you tried it yet? I think from now on I will stick with the flavors that I know I like. Mike didn’t bring it with him today, so I can’t give you his opinion but this is mine.
Anyway, some of my favorite shows come back tonight! 9010 and Gossip Girl are new episodes! So excited for them. I can’t even remember what happened on both of the shows. They will have to wait and be DVRed tonight because I am watching the Bachelor instead. Trashy, I know. Plus, I read the spoilers which I mentioned before. So I already know what happens. It’s just fun to watch along.
Alright, must get back to work. Hopefully the rest of this day will fly by!

We dont have Chobani here. There is SO much stuff that we dont have in Canada its ridiculous. I can only find good greek yogurt at health food stores too. Its never in the regular places. So annoying.
Wow..I didn’t realize that they didn’t sell Chobani or greek yogurt in regular supermarkets. That is annoying! I’m sorry!
I LOVE the lemon flavor, it’s cool, refreshing, and terrific with fresh berries. Like one of the other bloggers, I often have to go to 4-5 stores in order to get it, as it is almost always sold out. Ever since it became available, and being a vegetarian who could never eat yogurt before (because of the gelatin or carmine), I can now eat delicious Greek yogurt. Yummy and good for me!
That is awesome! I’m glad that you like the lemon flavor.
Oooh good to know about Gossip Girl, I plan on riding the couch tonight so that is exciting
That’s disappointing about the Chobani. I tried Mango over the weekend and enjoyed it.
Haha. I didn’t get to watch the new episode of Gossip Girl. I’m watching it tonight. I hope it’s good!
I totally agree. I’ll have to look for Mango and try it.
At least you tried it! We can’t like everything!
Good job for trying!
That is so true! Thanks
I just tried Lemon Chobani and it is disgusting. I love all other Chobanis but this was awful awful awful. Can’t get the taste out of my mouth
I know what you mean. I tried it one time and hated it too.
the lemon is really bad
the only other flavor that has given me issues is pomegranate…it has an initial flavor that isn’t pleasant..perhaps its the strong yogurt flavor combined with natural flavors of some fruits that just doesn’t mesh…i was so looking forward to enjoying the lemon, too!
I totally agree with you! I am not a fan of either of those flavors. I’m sorry you were disappointed! The apple cinnamon flavor is amazing! Have you tried that one?
I can’t believe u dont like the lemon. I think it is without a doubt the best flavor chobani has. It’s always the only one sold out. I oftenhave to go to 3 or 4 stores to even find it so when it’s actually there I buy them all.
I just wasn’t a huge fan of the flavor at all.
I’m with you Tim. I just had a lemon Chobani with my lunch and eat them as often as I can. They tend to run out of them at my local store as well so I assume its a pretty popular flavor.
It may be that the lemon has lemon zest in it which some people might taste as bitter. I also like the pomegranate though too which has also been mentioned as a flavor some people don’t like.
Apple cinnamon is pretty great too though.
Wow, I never realized how popular Lemon Chobani was. I always see it sitting on the shelves in my supermarket.
It might be. I’m not sure about it. I just found that I didn’t particularly like the flavor. I agree with you 100% on the apple cinnamon! That one is my favorite
LOVE the Lemon! Used to eat it everyday with fresh raspberries or strawberries. It is perfect with fruit…now I can’t find it! I’ve checked every local grocery and emailed Chobani and they haven’t answered me..so sad!
Aw, thats a shame! I haven’t really seen it in stores lately either.
