Happy Thursday! Full night of television tonight! My Generation, Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice! Yes, this is the night I have been waiting for!! Oh, yeah, the Apprentice is on too but that is what the DVR is for! Did anyone watch Better With You last night on ABC? I loved this show! I thought it was funny and entertaining to watch! I cannot wait for the next episode. I hope this show sticks around. Most of the time when I end up really liking a comedy it will be cancelled. Hopefully this one won’t.
This morning I got thinking about a question Melissa asked me last week. She asked me to try and remember what some of the best days of my life were. I sat there for a while trying to come up with something. I kept thinking and thinking about days that I could remember. I came up with two days that I could remember and they both happened to be in Disney World.

The first memory that I remember is when Melissa and I went to Disney World last year to celebrate her 21st birthday. I kept telling her that I was going to take her there for her birthday and it came true! We stayed at the Polynesian resort. Both of us have never stayed there before and we were super excited! From the second we walked through the resorts doors we were transported into Hawaii and were treated like royalty! Our room got upgraded for free and we had the most amazing view of the pool, seven seas lagoon and the Grand Floridian more specifically the Wedding Pavilion! It was awesome!!!! This was the best hotel! Everyone was so nice and friendly. They gave us leis as we walked around the resort. We tried out the Tiki Bar at the resort and got tropical drinks. It was so much fun. That was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at! At every restaurant we went to they gave Melissa a special dessert to celebrate her birthday. I think she felt special. There is nothing like going to Disney World to celebrate something special with someone that you love and care about!
My second memory was when Mike and I went to to Disney World to celebrate our 2 year anniversary I believe it was. It was either 2 or 3. I really think it was 2. Anyway, I had made reservations for one really special dinner to celebrate and that was at Narcoossee’s restaurant in the Grand Floridian. This restaurant is right above the water and has an outdoor deck where you can see Cinderella’s castle from and the fireworks! Our table had a view of the castle. It was so romantic! We had a personalized menu that said Happy Anniversary Mike and Hope. They gave us complimentary strawberries and champagne and dessert. Everything about that night was romantic. I was so happy to have spent that night with the one I love. The food was incredible, the people were so accomodating, the atmosphere was amazing. It was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. Mike and I had an amazing time.
There is just something about Disney World that makes everything better. I would LOVE to go back right now but I can’t afford it right now. I am hoping to go back sometime soon. I miss that place!
Anyway, enough of my stories. Let’s move on to dinner last night. Last night I made a baked perdue chicken breast with roasted veggies and our favorite Ragu Light Alfredo Sauce with whole wheat pasta. Yum!
What a delicious, quick and easy meal! After dinner, Mike and I went to Giant to pick up a couple of things. I don’t know what it was about walking around the supermarket with Mike last night but it was fun. It’s those little moments where you can laugh about something or talk about something so random that make spending time with someone you love worth it. I am lucky that I get to wake up every morning and go to sleep every night next to that person.
We were lucky to make it home right before a massive thunderstorm happened! Luckily, the power didn’t go out! I was nervous about that!
This morning I had hot oatmeal with a banana and breakfast blend coffee.
The oatmeal tasted so creamy and good today! I’m not sure why but it did. Haha.
Ok, well I’m off to do some work. I’ll be back later on. Have a good morning!
